They will be talking about, “Taking the Natural Step to Sustainability: Saving Money and the Environment while Creating Healthy, Vibrant Communities.” KFAI-FM is found on 90.3 in Minneapolis and 106.7 in St. Paul. The program will explore practical steps to sustainability we can all take at home, work and in the community. It will examine the Natural Step Framework from Sweden and its use in the Nobel-Prize-winning Fundamental Needs Work of Chilean economist Manfred Max-Neef. It will also look at some important local efforts people can get involved with, including the Sustainable Communities Action Network, Sustainable Communities Conference and the Living Green Expo.
